Purple Thai Chili

Purple Thai-(Capsicum annuum)-The Purple Thai Pepper is a medium heat variety that does not have the intense upfront burn of other Thai chile types. The peppers are about 4 to 5 inches in length and a quarter inch in width.

The Purple Thai Chili is a serious contender as far as pretty chilies goes. It is just one of those plants you cannot stop watching as the pods turn from black to a deep red & purple. Heat levels are reported to be on the high side of mild or lower side of hot at approximately 100 000 scoville units.
