Rebel Starfighter VT-16 “Heirloom”

This ugly little duckling sure has come a long way over the last couple years. This was one of the stand out segregates from my the cross of Xanadu Picasso x RHK GWR Heart.

The fresh crisp flavours in a GWR fruit are hard to ignore and these were consistently some of the best every year I grew it out. This is one I held back, keeping it close the the vest, but loving it more and more every year. I think this year, based on looks and flavours, it has surpassed RS-Prime for me. I just love the Antho shoulders and stripes. The large hearts. The variegated stripes … it is just amazing and as of this writing, the only GWR Heart with stripes and antho available.

Produces very beautiful and unusual, green when ripe, striped, medium to large-sized, heart-shaped fruits with antho shoulders. Fruit weight is 150-250g.

Very meaty and juicy green flesh with delicious, sweet tomato taste.
